Little Joys stores all your data locally on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or have access to your notes, photos, or personal information. Your gratitude moments are yours alone.

Little Joys does not collect:

  • Your notes or journal entries
  • Your photos or images
  • Your name, email, or contact information
  • Your location data
  • Device identifiers for tracking purposes
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data

Local Data Storage

All your content is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure data storage mechanisms. This includes:

  • Notes and entries: Stored locally in your device's app container
  • Photos: Stored locally within the app's secure storage
  • Settings and preferences: Stored locally on your device

This data is protected by your device's security features, including Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode protection.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable iCloud sync through your device settings, your data may be synced across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service. This sync is:

  • Controlled entirely by you through your device settings
  • Encrypted by Apple's iCloud security measures
  • Not accessible to us in any way

We have no access to your iCloud account or any data synced through it.

In-App Purchases

Little Joys offers optional premium features through Apple's App Store. When you make a purchase:

  • The transaction is handled entirely by Apple
  • We do not receive your payment information
  • We only receive anonymous confirmation of the purchase from Apple

Notifications

If you enable notifications, they are:

  • Scheduled and delivered locally on your device
  • Not sent through any external servers
  • Completely under your control through iOS settings

Third-Party Services

Little Joys does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service interaction is with Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases.

Data Export and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • Deleting the app will permanently delete all your notes, photos, and settings
  • Device backups through iTunes or iCloud may include app data, subject to your backup settings

We recommend exporting or backing up any content you wish to keep before uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

Little Joys does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we don't collect any personal information from any users, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
